Dr. Krishna R. Pagilla was recognized by the greater water community in two significant ways at WEFTEC’s recent Chicago conference in October 2021.
Dr. Krishna R. Pagilla was honored with the Engelbrecht International Achievement Award. The Engelbrecht International Service Award. This award recognizes sustained and significant contributions to the furtherance and improvement of the international activities of the Water Environment Federation. Dr. Krishna Pagilla has been a member of the Water Environment Federation since 1988, playing an instrumental role as a perennial WEF representative at the annual Stockholm Junior Water Prize competition. Pagilla has also promoted WEF internationally in countries such as Spain, Poland, and India, in addition to advancing WEF programs through attendance at international conferences in Singapore, Germany, and elsewhere.
Pagilla was also awarded Master Lecture, a designation established the by Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP).
