4/26/22: Truckee Meadows Water Authority: OneWater Nevada’s Advanced Purified Water Demonstration Project (APWD Project) conducted at the Reno-Stead Water Reclamation Facility (RSWRF) has been named the 2021 project of the year by the Truckee Meadows American Society of Civil Engineers.

6/10/21: The Reno City Council on Wednesday approved an interlocal agreement for reimbursement of costs to conduct a feasibility study to evaluate the use of recycled water for irrigation in Warm Springs Valley.
3/31/2021: The WaterReuse Association has recognized the OneWater Nevada initiative and Truckee Meadows Water Authority’s (TMWA) Lydia Peri among the recipients of its Awards for Excellence. The awards were given at a March 22 ceremony at the virtual 36th Annual WaterReuse Symposium. The WaterReuse Association is a national trade association dedicated to advancing laws, policy, funding, and public acceptance of recycled water.
11/12/20: The Nevada Independent: In April 2015, as the state entered the fourth consecutive year of widespread drought, then-Gov. Brian Sandoval empaneled the Nevada Drought Forum to gather recommendations about how to better manage water. The panel spent that year putting together a long list of policies.
